When thekitchenman has had a long day, I like takeout Chinese stir fry dishes.

We have many choices of Asian restaurants here in South Surrey and surrounding Vancouver and it’s growing daily.

I like the simple sweet and sour pork, or the pot stickers. The soups are very well made. The wonton and seafood are yummy. The Shanghai Noodle with spicy pork is my fav.

For the last several years, I have found this neighborhood jewel of a restaurant call the Shanghai Dining Wok.

The owners take good care of us his customers with his patience and desire to make diners happy. Mouth-watering daily lunch menu with good fresh offerings and suggestions. All handmade along with in house duck and pork bbq makes for a great place to get a family and friend all fed with some pretty tasty dishes. Now I could go on all day about the this family owned and run restaurant. The fact is, it has never failed in providing great tasting oriental fare consistently on the many visits and take home.

The more items I try, the more it gets hard to decide because everything tastes so darn good.

The great thing is that after meeting the family I realise that all the effort that they have put into running a very clean well run restaurant. I keep coming back because it has so many good things to satisfy and discriminating taste. I have taken many cooks and foodies here, they all return as regulars also.

It’s definitely worth a try.
