            VL’S Curry Bowl. Taking time to have lunch on the run while shopping means stopping at the mall food courts. Some of them have been operating for several years like the ones at my local T&T Market Mall in Surrey BC.  The Kiosks in T&T carry a fine selection of fresh Asian foods, meats and whole fish which brings me here a couple times a month.   The sign to thekitchenman that you’re about to get some mighty fine tasting duck and pork bbq! Half and Half with some fluffy jasmine rice and the au jus dripping sauce is what you need! Road Trip Nibble and a Nip!

I love road trips and checking out all the off the beat and track eateries especially this trip to Ucluelet. Tried some of the Hanks best Smoked Five Spice Duck Wings, Panko Crusted Rock Fish, Crispy Halibut and Albacore Street Tacos. The best of the day was a six pack of Effingham Fresh Shucked Oysters from the Raven Lady. Life is to short to eat mediocre fare!

Dim Sum

Life without Dim Sum would be a boring weekend for me. I love to have other chefs feed me. Dim Sum Brunches have become very affordable and busy.
