the kitchenman has now tried BellaVitano Gold Balsamic and the Merlot washed cheese on several tastings and I must say that it is cracking good cheddar. It melts like a snowflake on your tongue and has a rich yet light mouth appeal. It sure tasted delectable in a spinach salad and on fresh lentil crisps. It pares good with any crisp white or marries well with a pinot noir or sherry.
I loved it with a frothy mug of Pale Ale ploughman lunch style. Available at fine deli’s like Greco’s or online.
